Situation

My delivery history contained useful tip information, but comparing cities and patterns across individual records was difficult.

Task

Create an interactive Tableau dashboard that makes historical tip patterns and delivery counts easier to compare.

Action

• Prepared 1,251 delivery records from July 2017 through September 2018 with dates, cities, housing categories, costs, and tips.
• Built city comparisons, tip distributions, and monthly views with delivery counts to give averages context.
• Added delivery-count, median-tip, and total-tip summaries, shared filters, and small-sample markers.

Result

• The recorded deliveries contain $8,933.49 in tips, with a $6.00 median and $7.14 average tip.
• Brought city averages, the full tip distribution, and monthly tip and delivery history into one interactive view.
• Made the uneven sample sizes visible: four of the seven cities have fewer than 30 recorded deliveries.
